Protest around Gaba landing site with the #FridayForFutures #JusticeForLakeVictoria

#WorldWaterDay this year highlighted the importance of fresh water, advocating for the sustainable management of fresh water sources. As Ugandans we are privileged to house one of the largest fresh water lakes #LaveVictoria

I joined forces with @theflipflopi and a team of youth #FridaysForFutures Uganda to demand #JusticeForLakeVictoria creating sculptural piece from reused plastic bottles @suubisandraartstudio and a song called #Kilagala that highlights the dangers of climate change. #Artivism

Lake Victoria is the largest supplier of fish to Kampala City as well as livelihood to thousands of people. It’s our responsibility to look after this treasure starting with #EndPlasticPollution
We as creatives can harness our gifts to spread this word in anyway we can. This earth is our only home and #ClimateChange is real.
Do something right now!

This world is our only home. Lets protect it in every way we can.
